There was no suitable board on this forum to start this thread so I picked the smoking section as I am a smoker.

I am very interested in becoming a hypnotherapist. I am after some sound advice on where to study and how to become a credible and effective professional in the field.

About me: I am a qualified boat builder and have been building boats for fourteen years. I have never been happy in that line of work and have always felt drawn to counseling and analyzing people. I have a fascination with the human mind and it's ability to be both corrupted and mended.

I have noticed a number of institutions offering courses in clinical hypnotherapy, I would love some honest opinion on who offers the best course with the best tutors plus some information on how to make a go of it as a hypnotherapist.
